Effective date: 20 October 2026. For bookings, this revised document applies to new bookings made on or after that date when disclosed as part of the booking. Existing confirmed bookings and previously accepted booking terms remain unchanged.
1. Travel and website information
Shaktipeeth Darshan is operated by India Beacons Sojourn (“IBS”). Information on tour itineraries, photographs, temple visits, accommodation, vehicles, travel times and prices is provided in good faith and updated with reasonable care. The website is for general information; the accepted quotation, booking confirmation and related written conditions govern an actual reservation.
2. Availability and website technology
IBS cannot guarantee uninterrupted or entirely error-free website access on all networks and devices. Temporary technical failures, hosting interruptions, network delays, maintenance and interference may occur. Nothing in this Disclaimer excludes legally non-excludable liabilities or consumer rights.
3. Images, hotels and vehicles
Images and illustrations may be representative of locations, properties, vehicles and guest experiences. They are not guarantees of a particular room, vehicle, route, view or service unless expressly confirmed in the booking. Price indications are subject to validity and availability before confirmation.
4. Temple visits and religious activities
Darshan access, queues, religious ceremonies, puja services, temple closing dates, local religious festivals, private permissions and priest services are governed by temple authorities and local arrangements. Specific darshan times, priority access, offerings or spiritual outcomes cannot be guaranteed unless within IBS’s control and expressly contracted. Personal donations and Purohit/Panda/Maharaj fees are excluded unless included in writing.
5. Treks, mountains and guest safety
Pilgrimages can involve extended road journeys, stairs, uneven tracks, limited medical access, high altitude and changing mountain weather. A traveller should evaluate physical suitability, obtain appropriate medical advice and carry necessary medication and insurance. IBS may reasonably revise or cancel a trekking segment for safety or legal reasons, explaining alternatives and applicable rights; no clause here eliminates responsibility for an actionable failure.
6. Wildlife, parks and other travel
Where a package includes wildlife or nature visits, sightings are not guaranteed. Forest entry, safari routes, photography, permits, boat travel, weather and tidal restrictions follow the competent authorities’ rules. Guests must comply with environmental and safety instructions.
7. Independent providers and links
Hotels, airlines, railways, boat or ferry operators, transport operators, helicopter services, permit authorities, payment processors and other providers may be independent third parties with their own lawful operating conditions. IBS remains responsible for obligations it actually undertakes. External websites may have different terms and privacy practices.
8. Personal belongings and documents
Guests should keep identity and permit documents, payment evidence, cash, valuables, luggage, medicines and other personal belongings secure and follow the accepted itinerary’s stated document and baggage requirements.
9. Guest reviews, photographs and videos
Reviews represent individual guests’ experiences and may not predict another traveller’s experience. IBS will obtain appropriate permission before using identifiable guest photographs, recordings or video testimonials for promotional purposes, in accordance with applicable privacy law.
10. Liability, rights and copyright
To the extent legally permitted, IBS does not assume liability for indirect or consequential losses arising solely from temporary website unavailability outside its reasonable control. Nothing excludes fraud, wilful misconduct, actionable negligence, mandatory consumer rights or other liability that law does not allow to be excluded. Original IBS photographs, text, videos, logos and other protected content may not be commercially copied without permission except where law allows.
11. Governing law and contact
Indian law applies, preserving mandatory consumer jurisdiction. India Beacons Sojourn, 1 Indra Roy Road (Opposite Indira Cinema), 1st Floor, Room No. 8, Bhowanipur, Kolkata 700025, India. Telephone: +91 9903295920.
